The new economy is not about a job. It’s about becoming an entrepreneur. It’s about becoming who you were really meant to be and living your passion. It’s about writing your own paycheck.
What do you really want most in life… right now?
Get in a quiet place and ask yourself the following two important questions:
What are my unique talents? Then follow it up with – How can I serve?
Listen for your answer. There will be signs all around you. Focus on what makes your heart sing and more importantly focus and what you are going to GIVE! Giving opens the door to receiving. Those who learn this law and start practicing it will become wealthy very quickly.
Do you have what it takes to become an entrepreneur? The new entrepreneur is about expressing your uniqueness as a human being.
There is no shortage of money in today’s economy. The same amount of money still exists today – perhaps even more than a few years ago. Money has simply been transferred into the hands of others.
Responsibility is the key to success in business and in life.
Make a commitment to yourself right now to take responsibility for your life and assign meaning to it. Go for what you really want. Don’t live your life to please others.
Everything that happens to you is necessary to get where you are going. You are responsible “to” people, but you are not responsible “for” people. Obstacles will come up and stuff will happen.
You can’t create good results if you are in a state of “bad thoughts” or have a victim mentality. Don’t become a victim of your own thoughts. Your Goal must be bigger than the obstacle.
How do you know what direction to turn or where to put your efforts in creating the life you desire and deserve?
You will be paid in direct proportion to the amount of service you give!
When all of your “things” are gone – the only thing you have left is what you can give of yourself. Be focused on others. Ask questions and see what people need.
Everyone has genius locked up within them. The secret is to tap into your genius.
Everything you are seeking in life… is seeking you.
Money is simply an exchange of energy. Money makes you more of what you already are. The best things in life are free and are often things that can’t be replaced. Like relationships!
Ordinary people can live extraordinary lives when they begin to think correctly.
Don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t let resistance bother you – just let it go and do good! When you really start to think about this… it’s all “small stuff”. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.

Love this article Carol. I am working on my business right now. For some people they won't hire you because they think you are in the over 50 year old crowd, which I am in, but surely feeling like a teen. My choice is to make it happen on my terms writing my paycheck. I am willing to lose some sleep hours and do whatever it takes to see extraordinary opportunities be birthed. This article allowed me to reflect deeper and I know I am on the right path finally including my "niche" which recently transformed.
